Frequently asked questions

  • Most edits come back in 1-2 business days on average. Longer pieces, multi-cam projects, and anything with heavy motion work can take a bit more time, and I'll tell you upfront when that's the case.

  • Pick a plan and I'll set up your personal Notion board and send the invite, usually within the hour on weekdays. Accept it, add your first video, and you're running.

    Everything you need to know about using the board is written on the board itself.

  • Alan, every time. Intercutter has no other editors and sends nothing to outside contractors. You deal with one person from your first message to your final export.

  • None at all. Queue up as many videos as you like and they come back to you one by one.

  • Quiet month ahead? Email me at least 5 business days before your next billing date and that payment is skipped. You keep working until the end of the period you've already paid for, then billing and requests pause.

    When you're ready to come back, email me and billing restarts from that day. Unused days don't carry over, and you can pause once in any 30 days.

  • Large jobs get split into stages on my end. Full course builds, podcast back catalogues, multi-cam recaps, or a batch of reels cut from one shoot all work this way. You'll see finished pieces landing every 24 to 48 hours until the whole thing is done.

  • Premiere Pro for the edit, After Effects for motion titles, and DaVinci Resolve for grading. Ask and I'll hand over the project files.

  • However suits you, as long as it lands in Notion. Write the brief straight into the board, paste a script or a Google Doc, drop a Drive or Frame.io link to the footage, or record a quick Loom if you'd rather talk it through than type it out.

  • Then it isn't finished. Send your notes and I'll keep reworking it until it's right. Revisions are unlimited for a reason.

  • A handful of things. No 3D or CGI, no frame-by-frame animation, no heavy VFX and compositing, no filming or on-location production, and no scriptwriting. Not sure where your project falls? Ask before you subscribe and you'll get a straight answer.

  • You've got the first week. Ask inside that window and you'll get 75% back, no questions. After that, work already completed isn't refundable.

  • Of course. One month or one year is entirely your call. Wrap up, cancel, and come back when there's more to edit.
